Earlier on Thursday, Pesar Mayank Yadav of Lucknow Super Veteran (LSG) was excluded from the remaining part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to injury.
The IPL issued a statement announced by announcing the decision. The 22 -year -old Yadav has been replaced by New Zealand’s Pesar Will O’Rurke. He is down with a back injury.
The statement said, “Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has planted an injury for Mayank Yadav at Peser, William O’Rurke, New Zealand,” said.
“Yadav retained a back injury and rejected for the remaining season,” the statement said.
O’Rourke will be replacement at a reserved price of Rs 3 crore.
Rourke has represented New Zealand in five T20s, taking five wickets at an average of 28.60. In 38 T20s, he has taken 37 wickets at an average of 26.05 on an average.
