“Happy with all our batsmen”: PBKS coach ahead of IPL 2025 playoffs

Punjab Kings Assistant Coach Brad Hadin expressed strong confidence in his team’s batting unit and lined up the team’s strategic goals for the rest of the tournament for the rest of the tournament from the Punjab Kings Next Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against Delhi Rajdhani at Sawai Monsinghan Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday. Haddin was admitted in his praise for the team’s batting performance throughout the tournament and denied any change in the batting order of captain Shreyas Iyer, who played an order in the previous game against Rajasthan Royals.

“Our top order has been outstanding. Our captains have been very good at number 3. We have seen Shashank and Omar (Omarjai) on many occasions. When they need, they have really played and played well. Shashank has got something in the 50s, and Umar has done the same. We are happy with all of us, we are all batsmen.

Addressing the Captain’s recent absence from his normal batting position in the previous match, Hadin clarified, “This was due to circumstances on the second day. It was actually a brave attempt to take the field that he had a finger. So he still played a role, in fact it would actually go back to the border behind the game.

Mitchell Owen, who joined the Kings as a replacement of the locket Ferguson, made his debut for the team in the previous game. Although he could not do well with the bat in the match, the assistant coach showed great confidence in him and is positive about his return to the upcoming matches.

Assuring that Marsh is now well prepared for the situation, Hadin said, “I think one thing Mich has brought is just a sheer power. He is now for more than a week for what he is going to get.

Despite being worthy, Hadin insisted that the team is committed to continuous improvement, is consistent in its performance, and achieves clear objectives.

He said, “It is good from outside that we have qualified, but we have talked to the group about the style of sports and sports some time ago, and we have some clear goals where we want to finish at the end. And I think you are going to see in the next couple’s game,” he said.

Hadin concluded the team by expressing satisfaction with the depth of the current team, which allows coaching and selection employees to try various combinations according to the situation.

Appreciating the team, he said, “I think we have got luxury at this time, we can go with a couple of different combinations. And what I like at this time, all the players are hungry to play. They are hungry to get out on the field. Training is ultra-practical, and this is the place where you want to have a group at this level.”

Punjab Kings will face Delhi Capital at 7:30 pm at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday.
